Is my URL lost forever?

  I have an odd question:

  The title of my blog is OH AMANDA. However, I didn’t choose this until I made my URL soitbegins.wordpress.com

  My mom started a blog after me and was a little confused and somehow while looking for my blog actually made a blog at ohamanda.wordpress.com along with her regular blog. (So, she’s got 2 blogs…hers & a blank one with my name on it.)

  Now, is it possible for me to take over that ohamanda.wordpress.com blog? If she deletes it, could I get it? Or is it gone forever?

  Am I making sense? I tried to search for this on the FAQ but the situation was too weird.

  Your mom can make you an administrator of http://ohamanda.wordpress.com then and then once the takes place and all is well you can delete her as an administrator.

  I think I understand. Would I be able to log in under my name? Or would I have to do hers?

  After your mom has successfully made you an administrator you can log-in under your own username.
