Is Mystique Theme the same version on WordPress.com and WordPress.org?

  Hi,

  I am moving to wordpress.org from wordpress.com and wish to stick with my mystique theme. Is it the same version on wordpress.org or a more updated one? I obviously want to have the best version of it I can get but one that is not too complicated to use. There seems to be several versions out there. Also is Mystique Responsive?

  Hi timethief,

  Thanks for getting back to me. I have checked out both sites you recommended. Was in one of them yesterday and have posted my questions there as I still don’t know if the version I will transfer to is the same as the one I am using. I can’t seem to find what version of Mystique I am using on WordPress.com. I have gone it to the Themes and read all its info on Mystique but it doesn’t to my knowledge say which version it is. I have also posted on WordPress.org looking for advice.

  This will be my second paid for transfer, first one not with yourselves, so I really want to make sure where I am going and don’t want any nasty surprises.

  Technically no, the versions are not the same. One is coded for use with WordPress.com software, the other with WordPress.org softtware. They are very similar and it’s unlikely you’ll notice any visual differences.

  Now I am getting somewhere. Thanks again. Like the layout and widgets. I suppose it is what you get used to and what is familiar, especially when making a big change like going from WordPress.com to WordPress.org. Well a big and stressful change for me anyway.
