Is our site paid for, we where ripped off

Hi. We paid someone to build a site for our clothing brand & they didn’t complete it. They refuse to continue working on after I paid them in full & didn’t complete the site. We where ripped off. So we wanted to know :
1. Do we own my domain name?
2. Is our domain name paid for monthly or was it paid for the year?
3. Also what server are we on?
4. Is our WordPress account paid for the year?The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I’m assuming https://achristlifestyle.wordpress.com/ isn’t the site you are talking about. What is the address of the site you need help with? It sounds like it won’t be hosted here at WordPress.com but at least with more details volunteers or staff may be able to point you in the right direction for further help elsewhere.

Are you perhaps speaking of achristlifestyle.com? I see that site connected to your account via the Jetpack plugin, but we don’t control that site itself, and the domain is not registered with us either.
That domain is registered with 1and1.com and hosted by HostDime.com, so you’ll need to contact them regarding control over your domain and hosting account.
