Is "Post by email" still working?

    Hello,
    I have been trying to figure out how to post by email. The information given on the support page does not match the present screen interface.

    I have no clue how to configure my blog’s email address required to post to my blog by email.

    Is this function now defunct? If not then how can I configure my blog’s email address?

    I have ‘accidentally’ found the option, alhamdulillah.

    If you want to configure your blog’s email address so that you can post by email then simply follow the instructions given below.

    1. Visit this link:
    https://MYBLOG.wordpress.com/wp-admin/index.php?page=my-blogs

    2. Change the part MYBLOG with the unique part of your blog’s URL – the part that comes before the part .wordpress in your blog URL.

    3. Locate your desired blog. You will have to do this if you have multiple blogs. If you have only one blog then you see the options for your blog right away!

    4. Click ‘Enable’ under the column ‘Post by email’.
    (Btw, you can also enable ‘Post by voice’.)

    5. You will immediately be given your blog’s email address in the place where used to be the link ‘Enable’. In shaa Allah!

    6. Consider asking the happiness engineers to do something about updating the how-to information right within the support doc so that everyone who needs this option can get this easily done, in shaa Allah!

    I used to think I can post directly by MS word, but now it seems not working.

    HI there,

    @easeshare, in future, it’s best to start your own thread, especially if the thread you’re posting to is older like this one, and not related to your question.

    You need to first connect your site to Word before you’ll be able to use it to post. You can find instructions to do that here:

    I’m having issues with this in which I send my content in through OneNote. The pictures don’t show up anymore even though I had one post that it worked for right before all the others that have since stopped generating the images. Instead, all that appears is text from within the image. I doubt it’s an issue with OneNote or Outlook.

    @sandraharriette we don’t offer any option to publish posts via OneNote. What exactly are you doing and on which site?

    If you’re speaking of the OneNote plugin for WordPress, that’s only for sites using the self-hosted WordPress.org software, and cannot be used with WordPress.com sites unless they’re on the Business Plan.
