Hi, Ive got the same problem and Ive just purchased the Premium version ¿? Now I can’t get a domain…
In my case, the identifier would be ES-GA. But Ive tried with ES, ESGA ES-GA…..
I hope this can be solved.

have you tried either “California” or “CA” – but not both?
Many systems have a drop down for the State / Province selection – also have you selected the proper Country?

It’s still better not to post to threads that have already marked for staff attention, but doing so no longer moves them to the end of the line
Those of you still having this problem, please give me the full name of the location (City, State/Province, Country) you are trying to use to register a domain, and I’ll country and I’ll be happy to help you find the correct ISO identifier for that location.

My city is Santiago de Compostela, Province A Coruña (you can also try with Galicia) and Country Spain
Ive already tried with its identifier. Thanks for helping though -

Solución: Ni bien inicias en WordPress, dirígete a “Mi sitio” “WP Admin” “Escritorio” y ahí te mostrará la opción de: “Registra “Tu Dominio” por solo €18 al año”. Comprándolo desde aquí no tendrás que poner ningún código ISO para la Comunidad. Ésta te saldrá en menú desplegable previamente escrita. Un saludo y muchas gracias.

I don’t think there’s an ISO identifier specific to Gent, Belgium, but there is one for the province of East Flanders (VOV). I believe that should work!
