is search and replace available in WordPress

  I recently was informed that a certain link in my posts need to be changed. The informer recommended a plug-in called search and replace. I know that WordPress hosted blogs cannot accept plug-ins. Is there any equivalent on the WordPress site? I really really really don’t want to have to go through all my posts and change them manually. Can someone help? Thanks.

  Hi there!

  Third party plugins cannot be installed on WordPress.com sites. This is a security risk as we cannot vet all outside code and it puts our users, their sites, and our servers at risk.

  Plugins are only usable on self-hosted WordPress.org sites.

  I know the difference between .com and .org can get confusing, so here’s a breakdown of the benefits of each:
  http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

  Unfortunately, bulk actions like universally changing a link that appears on your posts will not work here at WordPress.com.
