Is search function broken?

  I searched in the whole wordpress.com but I kept getting zero results, even though the keywords are recognizable.
  I also tried it in a personal blog but still it didn’t why is that?

  Searched for what? How can we help when you provide no further information. The search utilities are working for me. You could have a browser issue. http://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/#clear-your-cache-and-cookies

  Last month I had my biggest month for hits ( a modest 280 ) This month my hits have become nonexistant which even for me is unusual. In my search engine box it says ” no data “. I have been having trouble with the recent e-mail address I set up with g-mail. Anty thoughts. My site is The Hour Glass by O.N.Rider. I have set up a new e-mail address. (email visible only to moderators and staff)

  The search function produces results from the text in posts.

  Also, keep in mind that the search engine only indexes the body text of blog posts, pages, and comments. The blog name, post titles, and post/comment author names are not indexed. http://en.support.wordpress.com/wordpresscom-search/#missing-posts
