    Hi there!

Looking at the logs of the site at infirmdelight.wordpress.com, I don’t see any posts were ever published on this site ever since it was created. That means the site you’re looking for must have a different address.

There aren’t any other sites you own, but you appear to be a member of the site https://gchousechurch.wordpress.com. Is that the site you were looking for?

If not, please let us know the address of the correct site so that we can take a look and point you in the right direction.

    Thanks!

oh! thank you – I’m just now seeing this. And yes, I see that there is no content… that’s my question, perhaps I was asking it wrong — my content is gone. I haven’t added content in a good while, but there was substantial content when I was more active.

Is there a way to search for content in case I have the wrong url? this is the only url I’ve used – I was part of a group on the other url but was never active there.

    Thank you!

  • Hi there,

http://infirmdelight.wordpress.com/ was created 12 years ago, and based on the logs, there was never any content added to the site. If you have a site with substantial content and it’s not https://gchousechurch.wordpress.com, it must be under a different WordPress.com account, as those are the only two sites associated with the account.

Is there a way to search for content in case I have the wrong url?

The ability to search for content without any reference to the site URL is limited. If you remember any of the posts or pages and their content, you may be able to find the site via good with some refined searching. But, the best bet is to remember the name, title, or URL of the site for us to search in our database from our end.

    Hope this helps.

    Hello,

For some reason I don’t get notified of your replies…. again, just seeing this.

Yes I created the blog 12 years ago, and added quite a bit of content, so I don’t understand what’s happened, per the logs you mention. It’s the only URL I ever used, and I never had a problem locating it until now. (Still, the problem is not in locating it, but in finding the content.) I can’t believe the content has gone missing! (And it’s not the gchousechurch blog.) I still have text of the posts, so perhaps I should search on large chunks of text? Could you help me know how to do that? Would that help?

Thank you so much for your help. I appreciate it. And I’ll check back here often so I don’t miss your reply (again).

  • Hi there,

I can confirm from our site activity logs that https://infirmdelight.wordpress.com/ has never been used since it was created 12 years ago. There is no record fo content having been added (and then deleted) from this site, and that is basic activity we log for all sites we host.

You are sure there is not another URL this content would be found at instead? Have you tried searching Google for any of the content you had previously? Possibly the title of an old blog post or something similar that you recall from the old site? Have you ever shared a link to it via social media or direct email that you can look for?

We are able to locate sites by their URL, but we do not have an alternate way to locate sites by their contents or the standard title of the site.
