Is something broken?
-
I am trying to “Like” some posts done by other WordPress bloggers but when I press the Like button, it asks me for my username and password. Even though I am already logged in to my WP account, I type the information in and press Log In. This takes me back to the start of the post. I scroll down to see if my Gravatar image is there and it is not, so I press “Like” again. Again, it asks for my username and password which I again type in and press Log In. I have tried this at least 5 times and I am still not able to get my Gravatar to show that I like the post. I have cleared cookies and cache, re-logged in and tried the who procedure over again. I do not know what else to do. This is *not* a blog that I am following. I can go to my Reader and the like button works on those posts, but not out and about on others’ blogs. It has worked in the past. I use Firefox exclusively.
Any ideas what I may be doing wrong or need to correct? Thank you for your assistance.

First, make sure that your browser is up to date by visiting http://www.whatbrowser.org/
If it is not, please try updating your browser or switching to a different browser.
If it is, please do these four things:
1. Try clearing your browser’s cache and cookies: http://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/
2. Make sure that you have third-party cookies enabled: http://en.support.wordpress.com/third-party-cookies/
3. Try with all browser extensions or add-ons temporarily disabled.
4. Try enabling HTTPS: http://en.support.wordpress.com/https/
Please let us know how each step goes for you, and which browser (and version of) you’re using if you’re still having trouble.

Thanks for your assistance. It must have been that the third-party cookies were disabled. Seems to be working properly now.
