Is the add photos function working today?

When I click on the “Media” icon on my posts, nothing happens. I emailed a question about this on the weekend, but have received no answer yet. I have inserted media many times before, but lately nothing happens.
Also, I can’t seem to add tags to the posts any more.

The Add Media button should be working. Can you let me know when this started for you?
Could you try clearing your browser’s cache and cookies to see if that helps resolve the problem?

evarlese, I first noticed this on the weekend, perhaps Saturday or Sunday. I will have to wait until a child comes home from school to do anything as sophisticated as “clearing . . . browser’s cache and cookies”! Though I will check the support link you posted in case I can figure it out.

Hi again. I followed the instructions on the link to clear the cache and cookies and cleared everything for the past week. I refreshed my WordPress page and tried again clicking on the media button and it is still unresponsive.
Any other ideas? Is it just me who is having this problem?

I haven’t heard of anyone else having trouble with the Add Media today. Have you made any changes to your account or computer?
Could you make sure that you have JavaScript enabled on your browser? You can do this via the File menu and clicking on Preferences. The exact wording may vary depending on the browser you’re using.
Could you also try going to your Users -> Personal Settings page and selecting the option to view administrative pages via HTTPS?
