Is the ‘Block Editor’ the same as ‘Gutenberg’

  Trying to find out what Gutenberg is and read a help file that only referred to Block Editor throughout. Thanks!

  Hi there!

  Yes Gutenberg and the Block Editor are one and the same! While Gutenberg is what this editor was called initially, they switched over later to using “Block Editor” to make it consistent with the Classic Editor and Code Editor options.
