Is the "blog image" my own photo?

  I uploaded a photo of myself as a “gravatar.” On my dashboard, I was asked to choose a “blog image” or “icon.” Can this also be a photo of me? I don’t understand the difference.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Your Gravatar follows you around (like when you comment here). The “Blog Picture / Icon” under “General Settings” is a little image that represents your blog. Right now, in the upper left corner, you have the WordPress “W” representing your blog. I have a little image of me with a camera.

  It’ll pop up a few other places.

  You can upload separate images, but they can be of whatever you want and operate as a representation of your blog…
