Is the renewal email I received legit?
-
I received an odd email from Word Press asking me to contact help@wordpress.com to renew my blog. It seems odd that everybody has to send an email to help to do so. Is this email legit?

Howdy,
Your blog is up for renewal; the e-mail should have contained a link to your upgrades page to allow you to renew ( https://marknystuen.wordpress.com/wp-admin/paid-upgrades.php?page=my-upgrades ). Since you’re setup for auto-renewal, no action is needed at this time.
Could you forward that e-mail to help@wordpress.com and change the subject to “For Kraft”. I’ll take a look and ask our folks to take a look.
Cheers!

After I sent my initial inquiry to you, I received a second email that had the link and said I was set to auto renew. I forwarded the initial email to help to your attention.
Thanks for your help.

Thanks for forwarding the e-mail. That was sent by our domain provider and we’re trying to work with them to improve their automatic e-mails on our behalf since, you’re right, it isn’t helpful and we don’t want folks to reply by e-mail to renew!
Thanks for taking the time to confirm the validity of the e-mail and forwarding it in to me.
