Is the sale of a business product allowed on a WordPress.org site?

  Not having a problem at all! Love WordPress. My question is about a site for our small business on which we’d like to sell our product. Does WordPress have a policy regarding the sale of items (i.e. music stands) from a WordPress.org site? We have an existing domain name we want to keep and our current host provides WordPress support. We just wanted to confirm any policy on the sale of products.

  Hi there, I’m glad you’re enjoying WordPress! :)

  However, this support forum is only for sites hosted here at WordPress.com. If you have a self-hosted site using the WordPress.org software with another website host, that’s completely separate. You can read more about the differences here, if you’re interested: WordPress.com and WordPress.org

  The only limitations on selling products on a self-hosted site would be from your current website host — there aren’t any limitations from WordPress.org. If you have other questions about your WordPress.org site, you can also get help at these links:
