Is the site broken?

  Trying to create first site and post first blog. But when I click on ‘write’ I get a message saying ‘You don’t have any word press sites. Would you like to create one?’ And then I click ‘create’ and get back to the page I got before which just sits there saying ‘give us one minute and we’ll move along’. How long is a minute?
