Is the Stats page working correctly?

My stats are really low today… especially considering the traffic to my latest postings (and links from other sites).
Is there something wrong?

I’m seeing the same thing with my blog as well. I had my highest day yesterday and today my numbers are really low?

I have the same problem, and I know the WP stats are wrong because my Site Meter is recording visits every hour while my WP stats are static.

*Ahem* and tsk, tsk – no bellowing please. Take it easy. It’s hot all over the world and folks everywhere are short tempered these days.:) Remember that you are benefiting from a free service here and that everyone is a volunteer. Shouting will not bring your question attention more quickly. Moreover, consider this: there is no other free bloghost that can claim they have as short a turn around time as WordPress does.
It’s always a good idea to scan the forum before posting and that means making use of the search box too. And if stats are that important to you you can install a free sitemeter on your blog like grumplstilskin did. The instructions can be readily found by using the forum search box. -
a) I wasn’t shouting. I made a joke because it had been an hour, two people were having a similar problems, and nobody had answered. Apparently you have no sense of humor.
b) Sitewide issues are normally placed at the top and highlighted in red. I didn’t see it there, so I posted.
c) WordPress is still a business, and one day they will charge for things, and make tons of money because of us- the initial users who are helping them to create a product that is well known and great. If we didn’t use it, and didn’t fight to make it perfect, it wouldn’t exist.And by the way, it’s a beautiful day in NYC, and my post today is #4 on the top read posts on WordPress- so I’m feeling great! Maybe you’re the one who is short tempered. :-)

I’m from SF, now in LA…it was very pretty today –and Lieberman got what he deserved, Finally, so it’s a Beautiful day, to me. My stats and feeds don’t match either, but I way don’t care, now that Senate is going to get cleaned out, then the House, Sacramento….

I noticed the same for yesterday. I thought that everyone had finally taken the hint from my blog and gone to the beach. But they hadn’t; they all seem to be back today. And our local beach is deserted (in mid-August; 3 miles of sand to myself this morning).
Life goes on.
