My account was hacked. Is the WordPress App secure or do I need to sign out of it.?

It’s a good idea to sign out then sign back in again. If you’re constantly signed in and your phone gets stolen, then so does your blog. Log out when you are done each session.

I still need to know if somehow someone can access my account through another portal. My account was hacked and things deleted on my Blog because I didn’t sign out. Can that be done remotely through the App.

If I understand you correctly then yes . If you leave a tablet or phone with a signed-in app then someone who comes across your tablet or phone could delete things on your blog.

Let me start again.
Access to my account online was made from a remote device. ie. another computer elsewhere in the world.
If I am signed in on my phone, can that be accessed remotely? I understand the implications if someone gets hold of my phone otherwise.
I Just tried something too. I can be signed in on the phone and not on the computer

Only if there is already some malware on the phone.

@sfinn2013, is it possible that your password might have been compromised some other way? For instance, is your WordPress password the same as any other shared passwords? If so, the person with your password would have been able to log in from anywhere on any device, and it wouldn’t have been a hack specific to your phone.
Have you had any problems with posts disappearing since you changed your password recently?
