Is There a Block to Follow Specific Categories?

  Hi,

  I understand how to add a Subscription Form block, but this gives the reader an email notification about every new post on my blog (The Writing Website, https://writingwebsite.poetry.blog/), and not get to choose if there is a specific type of category of post they want to follow. (For example, they might wish to follow posts about writer’s block ideas, but not about writing motivation.) Is there any way to add a subscription block or widget that lets the follower choose what categories to follow (or lets me give a subscription form for a specific category), or possibly a setting on the Subscription Form block that lets them decide this?

  Hi there,

  It’s not possible to subscribe to just specific categories on a WordPress.com site, no.

  You can display posts from specific categories under their own menu items via category pages, or on regular pages using the Blog Posts block, but subscriptions are for your entire site, not just individual categories.

  The only way to follow only a specific category is to follow the RSS feed for that category in a feed reader like Feedly:
