Is There A Catagorical Structure In WP?

    I am new to WP and I think my question is a simple one but I could not find it in the support section and hopefully I am in the right spot to ask this question as I do not wish to break any rules or protocol.

    Are blogs at WP posted simply as “General Blogs” or is there a catagorical structure of blogs such as;

    Religious, Politics, How To’s, Environment, Conspiracies, Military, etc. etc.?

    If I am in the wrong area could someone please direct me to the appropriate location?

    Blogs at wordpress.com are not directorized or catalogized. It’s all one big database of blogs. The categorization is done by using the appropriate tags and categories on your posts, which then may make your posts appear here: http://en.wordpress.com/tags/
