Is there a character limit on dropdown fields on forms?

    I’m trying to simply include suburbs on a contact form.

    Is there a limit to the number of characters?

    If I shorten the number of suburbs, then the field works.. but the following doesn’t work.

    Good grief! reading through that massive block of text gives me a headache. It would be even worse trying to read it as a dropdown list.

    Why don’t you just break the list into sections of the alphabet?

    Or have the folks fill in an address—don’t you have something like zip codes there (numbers or combo of alpha-numeric codes) that are part of a traditional mail addy?
