Is there a Contact Form widget?

  I apologize if this has already been asked, but I did a search using the word “contact” in this section of the forum and didn’t find any relevant results.

  I’d like to have a Contact Us page on my blog where a reader can input their name, email address, and a message, and have it emailed to me (that way i can avoid putting my email address on the contact page where spam spiders can find it).

  Apparently this function is available to users who have their webpage on their own servers and use the downloadable WordPress software, but not to those of us who pay WordPress to host our blog’s website? I can’t understand why that would be the case. Is there no widget to support this?

  Yes, it’s the Contact Form and you can copy the resulting code from the Post/Page HTML Editor and paste it in a text widget for your sidebar.

  Visitors who are already logged in to WordPress.com will have their Name, Email, and Website already filled in for them.
