Is there a current problem with uploading audio files?

    Hello!

    I do have a blog on WordPress.com…with the 10GB space upgrade, and I have already successfully uploaded and inserted an (mp3) audio file. I am able to upload graphics, but the audio has inexplicably refused to upload…at least, as of the last day or so.

    As a side note, I did notice that my graphics were not working all that well, or let me just say they’ve been appearing inconsistently, the last few days.

    Are there some gremlins in the system, causing the upload of audio files not to work?

    I’m just looking for verification, that I am not the only one in this situation, and that whatever is wrong is being looked into. I’m an old blogger, who’s been on several different blogging services. So I’ve got well beyond my fair share of experience, with blogs and/or their features going down for days…weeks…even months.

    …just one of the many joys of blogging. [insert long moan, here]

    Nevermind!…Apparently, it went through. It took long enough.

    I am just excited and pleased to see that it is working. It did not appear to be uploading, and the percentage gauge was acting strange (telling me a 15MB upload was 100% complete, in a matter of seconds, when that is not possible).

    I guess I need to just let the upload tool set, until the page changes.

    It is often confusing, when you’re just left hanging like that, without any visual cue as to what is going on for several minutes.

    Thank you, anyway. This seems to have sorted itself out.
