Is there a limit for contributors/users for private blog sites?

  limit on contributors for private sites. I have several who have received invites and have wordpress accounts but who cannot access my private site (www.mainstreetservants.wordpress.com) even after accepting my invitation

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  There is no limit.

  Do these invitees get a specific error message? what are their usernames?

  They get no “error” message when responding to the invitation email, they get the “protected blog” message with an invitation to request access. We did that with one user and it seemed to work. Here are the users still not getting access after accepting the invitation:

  mlkalfas
  (email visible only to moderators and staff)
  jimreis
  (email visible only to moderators and staff)
  (email visible only to moderators and staff)

  I’ve added mlkalfas + jimreis as contributors to your blog and invited the others again to register at WordPress.com so they can access your blog.
