Is there a limit to the number of pages created in one blog (domain)?

    Hi,
    Thanks for your excellente work!
    I’m very pleased with WordPress and tools provided.

    I manage the blog http://www.transportemaritimoglobal.com, that is growing regularly in number of subscribers and visits.
    I created a daily news communication, with posts that are published and sent by email, every day. It is a small post, just with links for the complete news, that are in a page.

    This way, I will have 365 posts, linked with 365 different pages, one for each day. Note that these pages are not on menus.

    Is there a limit to the number of pages created on a blog?

    Do you suggest another solution for a daily news communication?

    Thanks for your support!

    There is no limit :)

    Is there any particular reason why you redirect your readers to a page instead of writing the full news item in a post?

    Note that only posts are indexed in our WordPress.com reader, pages aren’t.

    You can read more about the reader at http://en.support.wordpress.com/reader/

    Many thanks for your support!
    Good news about the limits :-)

    The reason for redirect readers to a page at my blog:
    1- I want to keep the daily news post very clean, with a maximum of 10 lines of information and 5 different tematic news;
    2- Most news in the daily news post, redirect to a external website (where the information is published) – if the reader select one, he does not visit my blog;
    3- I intend in the future, to build a news repositorium page, accessible form my blog menu. It will be easier to link different existing pages to this one.

    Am I thinking write?

    Keep the excellent work!

    Regards,
    Alvaro Sardinha

    If you are thinking of splitting content you can also use this feature: http://en.support.wordpress.com/splitting-content/more-tag/

    Other than that I suggest you continue what feels best for you :)
