Provided you are not only a “contributor” you can upload image files in two ways: by going to Media → Add New from your dashboard http://en.support.wordpress.com/media/media-add-new/ or by clicking the new Add Media button right above the editing area of a page or a post. http://en.support.wordpress.com/add-media/

A poster wants the ability to receive just text when he logs in…No pictures
There’s nothing we can do for that user at this end of things.

Many use an online forum system called PHP BB. When we log in, we have our own settings or preferences which control how the server serves up the site to us.
One of the settings is no images.
This eliminates the possibility that, when logging on from a public place, that a big huge erotic photo might get splashed across the computer screen. Even if it is G rated, some barely clothed kissing couples might be a problem in a public place. If we log on using our mobile phone or tablet data plan, we sometimes might log on from work. Certain images would be inappropriate at work. Finally, if we are using a 3G or 4G wireless data plan, there are usually monthly caps. Images can eat into our monthly allotment.
Is there a no images setting, (just associated with our login of course) that we can switch on and off when appropriate?

I suspect you are posting to the wrong support forum. Please read this entry > http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the support forums there and receive advice from WordPress.org bloggers.

We are wasting each others time because you did not provide a blog URL from the outset starting with http:// Would you please do that now?
