Is there a plugin that I can use where by the URLs for our posts include the category they fall with

    The URLs for our posts dont include the categories it falls under. Is there a plugin I can use to sort out this problem rather then having a dev look into a solution?

    Hello Juliet,

    Plugins are not allowed on WordPress.COM for safety reasons.

    I’m sorry but there isn’t a way to include the category on your post URLs. Posts are always associated with a date, which is included in the URL. We cannot change permalink structure on any WordPress.COM hosted blog, we can only change post slugs using the editor.

    You can hire a web host and download a free software install for self-hosting from WordPress.ORG (which allows plugins).
    With the WordPress.ORG software you can install a theme and plugins and export your content out of your WordPress.com blog into the WordPress.org install. You can see how to do it here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/moving-a-blog/#moving-to-wordpress-org
