Is there a plugin to change links on select photos to “link to media file”?

    On an outdoor guidebook site, I have a large number of pages and most pages have a map with quite a bit of detail. I’d like readers to be able to zoom in on these maps as needed. I’ve tried a number of lightbox plugins but the problem is they make every image zoomable including decorative elements. I know it’s possible to limit such lightboxes to certain classes but I’d like to avoid going back and adding custom classes manually to hundreds of map images.

    Another option is to “link to media file” which, on click, allows one to view the image at 100%. It’s not an ideal solution but I’m wondering if there’s a plugin that would allow changing select images from no link at all to “link to media file”? Or if some alternative solution leaps to mind?
