Is there a problem with the 'Reader' and Support/ Help links?

There are no postings feeding into my ‘Reader’. When I click on ‘Reader’ or any subtitles, it is just a blank page. Also, when I went to ‘Support’, I was unable to connect to ‘Get Help.’ That page was also blank. I had to go through the internet to connect to Community Support instead of through my blog.

Hi @secretangelps911, it sounds like your browser could be blocking parts of the site.
What browser are you using, and can we have you try another browser to see if you have the same trouble there? We’ll go from there.

Using Mozilla Firefox. I will check for an update or try another and let you know. Thanks!

I have updated Mozilla Firefox to the latest version but I am still unable to get any streams into my “Reader”. It is totally blank including the “Manage”. I had switched from Internet Explorer because it was giving me trouble with my blog. Any other suggestions? I have contacted a computer tech to look at my computer but is there something that I could try?

You might check to see what extensions you have enabled in Firefox. Also, be sure you haven’t blocked our scripts/cookies. Usually Firefox will work by default, but you can configure it to block our scripts.

OK, I did this. My cookies were enabled and setting were appropriate. Where do I check these extensions? I could not find that.

I opened Firefox and used that link. Many different addons came up. Which one do you want me to load. I just got my computer back for the IT person and he could not figure out what was wrong. He even erased the memory saying possibly a contaminated file and that did not fix it.

You could try disabling those addons one at a time.
Before you try that, though, try another browser (Chrome, for example) to see if the problem is system-wide or browser specific.

I may have found the problem. Whenever I click on the “Reader” or even the exit button on the bottom of each blog posting, it brings me to an empty page with just the WordPress logo in the center. I just went to the top left had corner of the URL address (forgive me but I am not an IT person) or whatever it is called. I have a “lock” indicating a secure link to WP but when I clicked on the “i” for site information and open it up, I only have 4 icons whereas the “information” link has 5–the fifth being “Feeds”. I do not have the “Feeds” link now and don’t know how to add it. Even as I am responding to you now, I clink on the “i” and it is in Spanish but the “Feeds” link is here for this page but it is not on my blog page. I don’t know what happened and how to fix it.

oops… “edit” button on the bottom of each blog is what I meant to write. The only way that I can currently get to my blog posts is through “WP Admin” then “Posts”. Is there an update that I needed to use?

Hi @secretangelps911, sorry you’re having trouble.
I still suspect an issue with your browser settings. Will you please try using Chrome or Internet Explorer to see if you have the same troubles there?

You are right. I switched to Chrome after my IT person could not find the problem. I don’t know what the problem was with Firefox. Thanks for your help.
