Is there a problem with "views by country" feature?
-
“Views by Country” feature is not displaying for the past two days. Is there a general problem with it, or is it just me?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

It happen sometimes. I get errors in a red box inside the “Views by Country” section. Or sometimes, I don’t see anything there. Isn’ t something big, but it may have caused because of your browser or its applications.

Do you have any suggestions of what I might try? In my stats page, the view by country portion just shows that rotating “processing” icon (sorry, I dont know what to call it)… but the countries never come up.

If you are not running one of the browsers and versions listed at http://browsehappy.com/ please try upgrading or switching first.
Note: If you are using an IE9 browser in compatibility mode that makes it render as IE7 and IE7 is not supported. To disable see > http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/1196-internet-explorer-compatibility-view-turn-off.html
If you are running one of the browsers and versions listed at http://browsehappy.com please do these four things:
1. Try clearing your browser’s cache:

2. Make sure that you have third-party cookies enabled: http://en.support.wordpress.com/third-party-cookies/
3. Try with all browser extensions or add-ons temporarily disabled.
4. Try enabling HTTPS: http://en.support.wordpress.com/https/
If it’s still happening, let us know which browser (and version of it) you’re using by checking here if necessary http://www.whatbrowser.org/ and also post any error reports you get.

I went through the whole procedure listed above yesterday, but even though I have no error messages, the “view by country” icon continues to rotate without result. When I enabled the https, I changed everything necessary including providing a new password on the personal settings page. The only thing that continues to show “http” instead of “https” is the Twitter API information, and there’s no way for me to change that because the form won’t allow it (I only use Twitter to show post titles from my blog to Twitter, I don’t use Twitter to post on my site, i.e., I only use it in the one direction). Is there any chance, with so many people have trouble with the “view by country” stats feature in the last few days, that the problem is that the Twitter info needs to read “https” at its beginning instead of “http”? I would think since it’s a form already set that the engineers would need to change that, but I don’t know. Thanks.

Mine just came back up… thanx!
…And thanx to wordpress for giving me an outlet in a world where no one seems to care about the truth.
Thank you! -
Mine also just came back up, but since last night and my correction of the browser problems, there’s been another problem. You know how after one first hits the publish button there’s a pause and then the page goes blank for a second, and then the whole post comes back up in a page that has a quote by some other writer along the left-hand margin? Well, it may not be a major problem, but that page now comes up blank. I can still post, and can look at my post through “read blog,” but I need to know if I’ve somehow disconnected something that needs to be reconnected? And thanks so much for having solved the first problem. This was really the fastest I’ve ever been helped on any website.
