Is there a “Search” button for WordPress.com?

  I have never come across one, and I have needed one for a long time now. Is there one? Did I miss it? Or should they make one? Please, answer this for me.

  Not as such. You can use Google using this format:

  “site:*.wordpress.com searchterm”

  Enter your search term where it says “searchterm”

  When I wish to search WordPress I often insert topical words into the url, two words need a hyphen. Not sophisticated, but it actually works pretty well. Because of this discussion I now know WordPress doesn’t have a search function I had somehow missed!
