is there a search users widget?

Is there a widget that can be used to search users by nmae? So that all people registered with the site can search all the other people registered?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Well thank you for that, a sensible answer! I spent ages trying to make the author widget do what I wanted, which it wouldn’t (not nicely anyway), so thank you!

The WordPress.com search engine indexes post, pages, and comments content (body text). Unless entered as text in those contents, blog name, post titles, and post/comment author names are not indexed. http://en.support.wordpress.com/wordpresscom-search/
