Is there a simple way to change who appears as the authour of a post?

    Is there a simple way to change who appears as the authour of a post? I am using manifest theme. I would like to put a post on my blog that I have not written. Someone has emailed me a post that they have wriiten and would like to put it on my blog.

    I do not want to appear as the authour.

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    I think the post has to be assigned to an author who has an account. You could create an account named something like “Guest Author” and assign that as being the author.

    There is an Author box which can appear on the edit page (use the options tab which is in the upper right corner), or on the Dashboard > Posts > All Posts list there are Quick Edit and batch edit tools for changing the author of existing posts.
