is there a staging area to build a website in temporally?

    i will be moving my domains and websites from godaddy soon. in the meantime, i want to start from scratch with building new sites in wordpress with elementor. i want to do this while my current sites work with godaddy and eventually, move everything to bluehost once the new pages are complete. My question is how can I start to build a page without transferring a domain or opening a new one? is there a ‘staging’ area that i can do this in?

    Hi! You’re welcome to create your new site with us before pointing the domain here. That way your current site can stay live until your new one is ready.

    I do recommend getting a plan earlier on if you’ll need it, since they have other features you might find useful, including direct support:
    https://wordpress.com/plans

    Then just avoid using the domain options until you’re ready, and then you can map or transfer the domain.
