Is there a stats delay?

  Hey, I was just wondering if there’s a delay in the stats showing up/ being accurate on the main stats page.

  The hourly ‘last 48 hours’ bar shows today being at least double of yesterday. But the main stats page says 215 views for yesterday, 349 for today, or 160% difference. (as of when I snapped the screenshots.)

  I have tried searching a bit, but I don’t see any info on a delay in the stats.

  forced overlap of today’s stats and yesterday’s stats from the counter bar…. looks like double or more.

  Yes. Our starts are not real time stats and they take hours to update.

  You can also look at Quantcast – they are a day or so delayed – note that no two stats systems will ever match up exactly

  anyone that frets over an hour or two is wasting energy – it is not the exact count but the trend that is important – trending up or trending down?
