Is there a theme or something for a forum just like this?

  I love the look and function of this set for a forum. It would fit my needs perfectly. Ok i know i am not post on the right side here as i am using my own server but i was wondering if anyone could get me pointed in the right direction for a forum lay out like used here. I have searched but do not seem to be able to find anything

  don’t have one yet working on setting something up just trying to find the right layout at this point http://www.projectboatzen.com is the base but i am not at all happy with this and the blog is just a basic wp at this point

  Here at wordpress.COM, we cannot have forums.

  You would have to self-host it. WordPress does have a forum software that they developed called BBPress http://bbpress.org/ but I haven’t used it or even seen it running anywhere, so I don’t know what it is like. I think what is here is a highly modified version of it.

  Like I said, what is here has been heavily customized. If you know CSS and PHP scripting then you can certainly change the look of the base bbPress to get something like what is here.

  Baby steps lol but it seems to have the key elements of what i am after. I know just enough CSS and PHP to get myself into trouble and not enough to get out lol. Onward into the fog i always say!

  Found this theme to go with the BBpress base software http://idolsavenue.com/forums/topic.php?id=21
  this should get me going in no time! All a matter of finding the first clue to follow lol.

  And glad to know i am not the only one wondering in the fog :-)

  Ah yes, the fog. At least we admit it though. That’s more than we can say for many.

  Good luck with your blog and forum, and with your new blog, you need to inquire over at http://wordpress.ORG/support/ as that is where the self-hosted version is supported. Our software here works differently and our answers most of the time will not apply to your installation.
