  Can I make site not public while i work on adding articles and play around with look?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  There is no “under construction” page, as such. But you can make your site private while you work to get it looking the way you want:

  http://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/privacy-settings/
