Is there a way for people to add videos to my blog and create thier own account
-
I want to make my WordPress blog have the function that allows others to put videos on the page whenever they want, even if they do not have my log in information. Is there anyway to do this? It would be similar to the way that people put videos on Youtube and make their own account.

First of all, you would have to pay for the space upgrade to add videos. Second, no one can post to your blog unless they have a wordpress.com user ID and you have added them to your blog in some role (contributor, etc).

Please don’t post your ID or you’ll get alot of porn on the site! Unless that’s what you’re looking for lol… and anyone sharing your ID has complete control, like the power to delete your blog! I have created a gmail address for my site (lots of upload space, unlike other free email addresses) and in the text widget, I invite people to email me at that address. I then forward (in the settings option) to my main email address so I get notified without having to run to a second email address constantly. If you do this make sure a copy of the email stays on the original server, as you won’t want to fill up your personal email with the submissions. This might be a good way for you to accept video submissions, but you’ll still need to upload them.

And if you’re printing the lyrics for the songs on your site, you might want to consider an attribution for the songwriter and a link to their website, or amazon or something that will negate or minimize the copyright issue….
