Is there a way I can embed a link in a background image?

    I am using Basis as my theme and my home page is the slideshow template. Each slide allows me to use a background image, which looks great, but I want to embed a link in the background image such that when the image is clicked on it will take you to the linked page.

    Hi there,

    On the slideshow template, you can’t insert a link into the background image. However, you can insert a button onto the page for readers to click on. That button should take users to the specific page. Can you give that a try?
