Is there a way not to display Category: *name category* when opening one?

  I was wondering if there is any possibility to delete that “Category: *name category*” and displaying instead only *name category*? (link 1)
  And also if it is possible to make it look like the title of a page? (link2)

  Hi there,

  Your site is not hosted on WordPress.com, but using the open source WordPress software over on WordPress.org.

  You should be able to either edit your theme’s files directly, or else add custom CSS in the Customizer to hide that label from displaying. However, we’re not able to help you with that here in the WordPress.com forums.
