Is there a way not to show "Category:"?

  My menu consists of some categories whose pages have a title at the top like “Category: Category Name.” Does any one know if there is a way not to show “Category:”?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there, If you have either the Premium or Business plan upgrade on your site, you can edit your theme’s CSS to hide the display of the entire page title. However, reading previous CSS forum replies it’s not possible to hide only the word “Category.”

  If you would like to remove the entire category page title from displaying, let us know.

  Thank you justjennifer! I don’t want to hide the entire category title so I will leave it as it is. In case I change my mind and decide to remove the title could you instruct me how to do it?

  Hi there, I’ve since tried a couple of things on my test site using Dyad2, but wasn’t able to hide the display of the title on the Category page alone.

  Since you have at least a Premium plan, I’d suggest consulting directly with Support by either posting at https://wordpress.com/help/support or by clicking the big blue question mark in your site’s dashboard. They should be able to help you with this since it is not extensive customization. You can point them to our forum thread.   Here is one of the codes that I got from the support!

  .category-196231 h1.page-title {
  overflow: hidden;
  text-indent: -340px;
  width: 350px;
  margin: 0 auto;
  }

  It works perfect!!!
  The support person created codes for all my 10 categories.
  You probably have an idea how the above code works but each code will work only for your specific category. The first line is telling code which category is in question and if it’s removed, it will work on all pages. You can also change the values of text-indent for different title lengths.
