Is there a way of creating a new post as Admin for a Contributor to edit?

  I have users emailing stories into me whihc I have been loading as Admin. I would like to start setting these people up as contributors so they can do their own edits. Is there a way of creating a new post as a Administrator so it can be edited by another user (Contributor)?

  If people are Contributors they upload their own stories and then they don’t go live until you review them.

  Thanks raincoaster. I understand that and am setting that process up. The scenario I’m looking at now is whether as Admin I can create a new post and allocate it to another user to edit/update – basically have multiple authers. I would still have to review then publish. I suspect that this is not possible.

  No, I’m afraid it is not, unless you log in as that user and create the post that way, then email them to tell them. It’d be a huge hassle and security risk.
