Is there a way that i don't have to get blog suggestions from others in my feed?

    My reader is full of the blogs i personally chose to follow, and although i know that other bloggers want to share, but is there a way to TURN OFF blog suggestions that automatically show in my feed? These blogs just appear when someone in my feed puts a link in their blog, so I was thinking there might be a way to reduce some of these extra blogs.
