Is there a way to apply an expiry' time to posts via tags or another way?

  Hi everybody-
  Is there any way to create posts with an expiry date so that, when this expiry date has come, these posts would automatically come out of the main blogroll? For example, if I apply a tag such as ‘maintenance’ than those posts will only be visible (after a specified period) on the ‘maintenance’ page via the tag? TIA

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  There is no expiry date option for posts on WordPress.com; only the ability to schedule a publish date.
