Is there a way to apply default/global tags to all blog posts?

  I’m not too familiar with WordPress, have a new blog here, and wondering if there’s a way to save me time when adding or editing tags to new or existing posts? For example, most (but not all) of my posts might have a lot of overlapping tags and I’m wondering if there’s a way to have a simple page containing a list of posts where I can select any number of posts and all at once add a tag to them? Or another way to add the same tag to a number of posts without editing each post’s tags manually?

  Unfortunately such global updates are not available. I wish they were myself.
