  Is there a way to block subscribers? Thanks!

  There is not. You can mark your blog as private, however. But then only users whom you designate will be able to access your blog.

  mmadfan has correctly answered you question and pointed you to “privacy” settings. I’d like to add a bit more.

  Note that WordPress.com will not block IP addresses for you. See here > http://en.support.wordpress.com/ip-addresses/

  The easiest way to escape being annoyed by a subscriber who you do not wish to post comments from is to set up comment moderation on your blog > Settings > Discussion and choose not to approve their comments. Provided the comments are indeed ‘spam” then mark them that way. If however they are “trash” mark them as “trash”.

  Note that anyone can subscribe to your posts and comments using an RSS feed reader and you cannot prevent them form doing so.

  Note that as your blog visibility is currently set to “public” and you have enabled blog subscriptions anyone can also subscribe by email.

  Lastly that as your blog visibility is currently set to “public” and you set up the ability to subscribe to comments on posts and/or pages by email on a “public” blog anyone can subscribe to them as well.
