Is there a way to block viewing requests?
-
My blog is private, but someone I don’t know has twice requested viewing permission. They’ve ignored the fact that I didn’t grant permission the first time. Getting repeat requests from someone I don’t know for my tiny blog is giving me the creeps. I want to either find out who the hell this person is, or block them completely (or both). Can WP admins help with this?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
You can remove Viewers from a Private Blog
You can see who has accepted an invitation to view your private blog as well as remove viewers by going to your Dashboard and navigating to People, and selecting the Viewers tab at the top.
To delete a viewer, just click the Remove User button. That user will no longer be able to see your private blog.

Hope this helps!!
Thanks!!

Hi there,
I missed reading that you haven’t granted them permission to view your site.
I’m sorry to tell but there’s no way of blocking the view requests to private sites.
Thanks!!

Hi there,
As @jagjeetparmar said, there is no way to block this. If someone knows your site’s address, they’ll see the page where they can request an invitation when they try to visit it. There’s no way to block access to that page as well.
Just ignore this person. They won’t be able to access the site unless you send them an invitation. To stop getting the emails you should be able to set up a filter in your email account to automatically delete any emails referring to their address/username.

Thanks all, and that’s a good idea about the email filter, I’ll see if I can do that. The
