Is there a way to convert IFO or VOB files to a format WordPress supports?

  I have video files from a DVD that I’m trying to upload to my blog but they’re not the right file types. Do you know if there’s a way to convert them to a format you support?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there,

  WordPress.com doesn’t have a way to convert videos files in other formats, so you’ll need to use a third-party service for that. Although WordPress.com doesn’t officially support or endorse specific third-party services, a couple options that have been recommended to me in the past are these:

  • http://www.mirovideoconverter.com/
  • https://handbrake.fr/

  You might give one of those a try or look around for other recommended programs for converting video to one of our supported formats: MP4 (.mp4, .m4v), QuickTime movies (.mov), Windows Media Video (.wmv), Audio Video Interleave (.avi), MPEG (.mpg), Ogg (.ogv), 3GPP (.3gp) or 3GPP2 (.3g2).
