Is there a way to disable “Notify me when new comments are added” for a user?

  I’ve got a user who says that he clicked the “Notify me when new comments are added” button when he left a message on my site and keeps getting multiple e-mails every time someone posts a comment. Is there a way to turn that off? What should I tell him about turning it off himself?

  Tell him at the bottom of every email is a link to change your notification settings. He needs to click that.
