Is there a way to ensure that my blogposts show up in my Twitter feed?

  There is in TypePad, but I’ll be darned, even after reading through some other threads, if I can figure it out here. Anyone?

  You’ll have to manually add the posts to twitter but for your readers to add your posts to twitter you can use this new option > http://teckline.wordpress.com/2009/07/25/new-social-bookmark-solution-for-wordpress-com-blogs/

  Also it’s best to have your WP.com blog linked to your user name so the volunteers can help you faster because their is two WP platforms and they have to determine which platform you belong to by asking you for the blog link and if you link your WP blog to your user name it helps them with cutting back time to help you faster.
