Is there a way to expidite domain name transfers to another registrar?
I have gotten nothing but hassle from Word Press on this…

Are you trying to use a domain with your WordPress.com blog, or did you purchase a domain at WordPress.com and wish to transfer it out to another site?

I am trying to transfer it out to GoDaddy. My main purpose for transferring it out is that I am trying to be able to use my domain name on my Zenfolio page, and the only way they seem to be able to tell me how to do that is by the directions for GoDaddy. I have spent 2 days on this now and am VERY frustrated. Thanks.

You do not need to trnsafer to another regsitar. As the support document I pointed to states you can simply update the nameservers. http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/domain-management/#update-nameservers

Yes, that is the guide I am following but it is saying my access code that I received via email from wp is wrong. GoDaddy is saying it can take 5-7 days for the transfer to be complete, but that if you can contact someone from wp you might be able to expedite the process. Just wondering if there is any one home at Automattic… doesn’t seem so with the customer service (or lack there of)

It looks as if Godaddy is already the registrar of heidimcclellandphotography.com. Maybe the transfer already completed today, because the last updated date is listed as 18-Jul-12

Zenfolio doesn’t have any to point to.
but it seems that http://heidimcclellandphotography.com/ is already showing up on zenfolio, so time to take the questions over to their support forums and good luck!

Yes, I did get it transferred today. Thanks! I am now just waiting for it to be directed to Zenfolio… they said it may take up to 48 hours.
